About District 75

 

District 75 currently has a registrar of 24,833 students. The District consists of 59 schools organizations, serving Home and Hospital Instruction, Agency Affiliated Programs, as well as Vision and Hearing Services. District 75 schools and programs are located at more than 350 sites in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, and Syosset, New York


District 75 provides citywide educational, vocational, and behavioral supports and services for students who are classified on their I.E.P. in one or more of the following categories: Autism, Deafness, Deaf-Blindness, Emotional Disturbance, Hearing Impairments, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Speech or Language Impairments, Visual Impairments, Orthopedic Impairments, have sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury, are multiply disabled or are Other Health Impaired.
