District 75 Annual Report 2024-2025
The Citywide Council for District 75 (CCD75) is proud to share our 2024–2025 Annual Report, which reflects the voices, experiences, and priorities of District 75 families across all five boroughs.
District 75 serves approximately 29,000 students with the most significant disabilities. Each year, the Citywide Council gathers parent input, documents systemwide challenges, and elevates recommendations to improve access, safety, and educational outcomes for students with disabilities.
This report represents both lived experience and system insight—bridging what families encounter every day with the structures, policies, and decisions that shape District 75 services.
What’s Inside the Report
The Annual Report highlights:
-
Parent and caregiver experiences across NYC
-
Transportation, access, and service delivery challenges
-
Staffing and capacity gaps impacting students and schools
-
Communication and family engagement barriers
-
Council observations and recommendations informed by parent voice, data, and regulatory frameworks
Why This Report Matters
For families, this report affirms that your voices were heard, documented, and elevated.
For stakeholders and partners, it provides insight into where coordination and resources are most urgently needed.
For elected officials and policymakers, it offers a grounded look at how policy and operational decisions affect students with disabilities in real time.
The Citywide Council for District 75 serves as the official parent advisory body for District 75. Our role is to listen, document, and advocate—while working collaboratively toward solutions that strengthen systems and support families.
